ALTGEN PARNERS WITH NADEET IN NAMIBIA
AltGen Namibia has partnered with NaDEET, the Namib Desert Environmental Education Trust since 2012 in an effort to continue to support the strengthening of its sustainability and educational programmes. Registered as a non-profit trust in 2003, the environmental education centres are at the core of what NaDEET does.
Their primary objective is to contribute to an environmentally literate Namibia through the deployment of practical programmes that address relevant environmental issues through experiential learning. NaDEET additionally supports the Namibian School curricula in a practical, learner-centred way, providing opportunities to experience in the Namib Desert first hand.
