Each consultant in our Recruitment team specialises in a niche field within the renewable energy and sustainability industries, these divisions consisting of Engineering, Business and Project Development and EPC, Financial Management, Legal and Impact Investing, and Climate Change, Carbon Management and ESG.

AltGen Recruitment will conduct an in-depth analysis of your requirements and develop a sourcing matrix based on the necessary technical skills, experience, and company culture fit.

STEP 1

DETAILED JOB ANALYSIS.

You sign off on our T&C’s. We then scope the mandate into our workflow remaining cognisant of the urgency of the role and the required engagement you desire from our team.

STEP 2

SIGN T&C’S.

After a thorough understanding of your needs, the AltGen Recruitment team begins sourcing screening and interviewing the candidates, carefully ensuring all your wish list items are met and that the candidate has a good understanding of your company and the demands of the position.

STEP 3

CANDIDATE SOURCING.

After the team has successfully screened and interviewed candidates internally, we translate the information learnt into a comprehensive and professional CV for your review. Our intuitive CV design allows you to compare candidates easily and effectively.

Expect between 3 – 5 candidates CV’s to be submitted to you.

STEP 4

SUBMISSION OF CVS.

AltGen Recruitment requires your feedback on the profiles we have presented you with before proceeding to the next step of interviewing or resuming the search. We recommend feedback in the form of a quick call where we can provide further detail on the profiles should you need it....

Since our candidates have sought after skills by multiple players in the industry, we recommend you provide feedback within 1 – 2 working days so that you don’t lose talent to time, which is a reality for companies who don’t act!

STEP 5

CANDIDATE REVIEW.

Now that you have identified which professionals you would like to engage with, AltGen will arrange as many interviews as your team requires to make an educated hiring decision. We manage the relationship with the candidates on behalf of our clients, therefore it is ...

pivotal that we have a catch-up call to discuss how the interviews went and the next steps. As part of our premium service offering, you can request for an AltGen Senior Consultant to sit in on your interviews and provide guidance on effective interviewing techniques. We find that participating in the hiring process results in our team’s ability to better match and understand your corporate identity and expedite the screening process on the next mandate.
Our offices in Stellenbosch have breakaway rooms available for in-person interviews with clients and candidates if required.
Note: we will conduct employment references prior to the final interview and qualifications, ID and credit checks are done prior to the offer.

STEP 6

INTERVIEWS.

Once you know which candidate is the perfect asset for your team, you send us the offer and we will have a quick chat before we engage with the candidate on your behalf. Through our depth of understanding of the candidate during the entire recruitment process...

it is always best that we present the offer directly so that we can ensure that any negotiations are in favour of you and your new employee.

Upon your request, AltGen can conduct criminal background checks should you require.

OFFER & PLACEMENT.
