You need to have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, commerce, or law, and 1 – 3 years of experience in account management, preferably within the green energy and/or cleantech market. The ideal candidate will have technical experience in teamwork competence, a client-satisfaction work approach, the ability to think analytically and strategically, notable leadership and team collaboration skills, and be resilient and persistent when it comes to delivering results and stakeholder management. You need to be an excellent relationship builder and be able to travel often to various sites.
Key responsibilities will be acting as the key point of contact for customers, oversee achieving assigned service objectives in South Africa, ensuring customer sites are operating efficiently, and overseeing services, operations and after-sale support. You will need to be responsible for customer management, develop and strengthen relationships to key stakeholders in customers organisations, identify potential partnership opportunities, visit the site team to support O&M, and revise SAA contracts and subcontracts for current and new service projects. Other tasks include understanding customers’ business strategy and objectives, identifying and executing account targets, and tracking all contractual performance.
