The ideal candidate needs to have an honours degree in the field of finance, legal or engineering with at least 4 years of experience within an Investment Bank (M&A, corporate finance or project finance), or Private Equity accounting firm. You need to have excellent financial modelling skills, strong financial acumen, an analytical and pragmatic work approach, and a background in project management. The ability to prioritize effectively and conduct research is important, and experience in infrastructure, renewable energy, thermal power, digital infrastructure or oil and gas is a plus!
As the new Investment Associate, you will need to conduct financial and risk analyses, create, review and modify financial models (including using VBA macros), perform comprehensive company valuations, analyse financing structures, and manage due diligence processes. You will need to report on the environmental and social performance of the assets, track asset performance against original projections, and travel for project site visits, deal negotiations and industry conferences.
