As the Bid Manager, you will collaborate with the Business Development and Sales Teams, turning them into game-changing bids. From strategy to submission, youโll lead the entire proposal process, ensuring every bid is tailored, compliant, and delivered on time. By coordinating with cross-departmental teams, youโll craft technically sound, high-quality proposals that highlight the companyโs strengths and value.
Our ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with razor-sharp analytical abilities and a talent for understanding client needs. You will conduct market research and your expertise in solution development sets you apart. Bonus points if you have experience in social impact, ICT4D, or working in a start-up environment.

Education Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in proposal writing, business development, or related
- Proven project management skills and cross-functional team management
Responsibilities
- Identify Opportunities: Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to uncover and evaluate new business prospects, aligning them with company objectives
- Craft Competitive Solutions: Develop tailored, value-driven proposals by assessing client needs and working closely with technical teams to ensure innovative and impactful solutions
- Lead Proposal Development: Oversee the entire proposal process from strategy to submission, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality deliverables
- Coordinate Information Gathering: Work with internal teams and external partners to collect necessary data, maintain templates, and ensure consistency across proposals
- Manage Technical Writing: Compile and refine content from Technology, Customer Delivery, and Sales teams to create accurate, impactful, and error-free proposals
- Conduct Client Needs Analysis: Interpret client requirements, conduct market research, and propose solutions that address their objectives while showcasing company strengths
