We are looking for a Sustainability Consultant with 5 to 6 years of experience in CDP, TCFD, and ESG strategy development and reporting. While working closely with the firm's partners, you'll be able to take the reins in expanding their climate disclosure service offerings.
To be considered our ideal candidate, you are REQUIRED to possess a master's degree in a technical discipline, such as Climate Science, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Engineering. You should also bring to the table a robust background with 5 to 6 years of expertise in TCFD/ESG/CDP reporting and the formulation of sustainable strategies. This experience should have been acquired either within a consultancy setting or through active involvement in the manufacturing sector.
As a seasoned senior consultant, you will bring a well-established expertise in carbon accounting, greenhouse gas (GHG) verification, and the creation of client reports. Your role will involve taking on managerial and supervisory responsibilities within our client's rapidly growing division. Here, the focus is on helping clients craft and implement sustainability strategies, overseeing sustainability milestones, and supporting initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions. This will encompass the development of proposals and close collaboration with the team to execute projects. Where feasible, you will also incorporate our client's climate disclosure cloud solution into the value proposition presented to clients.
Your role will be predominantly client-facing, ensuring that clients' needs are not only met but exceeded. Leveraging your experience, you'll lead a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-refined work to clients. Education Requirements
- A Masters (preferred) in a technical or economic discipline (Science, Climate Change, Sustainable Development, Engineering)
- Minimum requirement: A bachelor's degree in one of the above-mentioned disciplines
Experience Requirements
- 5-6 years of expertise in TCFD/ESG/CDP strategy development
- 5-6 years of experience in a corporate sustainability reporting setting
- A minimum of 3 years of carbon accounting experience
Responsibilities
Lead a team of professionals in the climate disclosure processes for clients in the public and private sectors. Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality outputs. Ensure a high quality of the team when crafting and implementing sustainability strategies and monitoring and reporting strategy progress. Ensure the development of carbon footprint reduction strategies and complete TCFD/CDP/ESG disclosure reports. Review, polish, finalise, and overall ensure a perfectly packaged output for clients.
