Description

We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to take on the management of electrical activities of our client’s project team! If you are based in the Tsanstabane or Kgatelopele Municipalities, you could be the person we’re looking for!

To be the right fit for the job, you will need a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering paired with 4+ years of experience as an electrical supervisor on large scale projects. Through your experience, you should be familiar with the National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Association and International Building code. As the Electrical Supervisor, you need to be someone who ensures that all electrical work done on-site is completed on time and to code, you’ve got superb attention to detail with the ability to see interactions with other systems to avoid problems. You’re well organised, precise and methodical and you have no problem reading and understanding construction plans and specifications. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the electrical activities carried out by subcontractors, managing the electrical part of the project team, liaising with engineers, contractors and stakeholders, and supporting and directing the subcontractors during the construction and commissioning phase.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include supervising the electrical part of the project team, liaising with contractors throughout the electrical construction and commissioning processes, managing the electrical activities carried out by the subcontractors, engaging with the engineers, contractors and project stakeholders, and supporting and directing the subcontractors during the construction and commissioning of the plant.
