Financial Modellers, we’re looking for you! This is a lucrative career opportunity for a meticulous and dynamic individual with a background in financial modelling and a keen interest in the clean energy market. You will be overseeing various robust models that will facilitate investment decisions and relevant analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in the field of business, economics, engineering or accounting with experience in financial modelling in the field of power, growth markets, energy, infrastructure industries and/or infrastructure investments. You need to have strong commercial acumen, accounting and tax experience, an understanding of transactional and financial structuring, and the ability to review of legal documents. You will be collaborating with the Business Development team so excellent communication and collaborative skills are a must. The understanding of structuring around non-recourse project finance and the ability to speak French or Arabic is highly beneficial!

As the new Financial Modeller, responsibilities include defining inputs and assumptions, including the compilation of financial model data books, to accurately reflect legal commercial agreements, analysing overall project review and approval processes, facilitating the Corporate Finance Manager in the production and maintenance of financial models, supporting post-acquisition asset management and performance monitoring, and assisting with shareholder information requests and board presentations.

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of business, economics, engineering or accounting

• Hands-on financial modelling experience
• Transaction experience, especially across managing multiple workstreams
• Experience in the field of power, growth markets, energy, infrastructure industries and/or infrastructure investments
• Accounting and tax experience

Responsibilities include analysing overall project review and approval processes, defining inputs and assumptions, including the compilation of financial model data books to accurately reflect legal commercial agreements, facilitating the Corporate Finance Manager in the production and maintenance of financial models, supporting post-acquisition asset management and performance monitoring, and assisting with shareholder information requests and board presentations. You will be maintaining key data such as:

• Financial and commodity data used as key inputs to project models
• Country evaluations where required
• Sector and competitor fundamentals; ongoing analysis of electricity markets if required

• Strong communication skills
• Cultural awareness
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail
• Ability to speak French and/or Arabic is preferred
