They are currently raising a fund to focus on Power - X (green hydrogen) in emerging markets globally, therefore they are seeking a Fundraising Expert to join their agile and innovative team. One of the first movers in the blended finance space, our client is committed to developing cutting-edge financing facilities to secure a sustainable future that drives POSITIVE impact.
Do you have 11+ years in facilitating capital distribution and an honours degree in an engineering or financial field? How about a proven track record of engaging with Development Financial Institutions (DFIs), and cultivating networks with institutional lenders?
Reporting to the Head of Capital Raising & Business Expansion, this role will be part of a team responsible for generating capital through engaging with your extensive network of commercial and institutional investors. Have you ever travelled to Amsterdam, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Finland, Switzerland, or any of the US states to raise funds?
This role calls for a candidate who can wear many hats. Our ideal candidate is naturally detail orientated and considers themselves a commercial prodigy who is always 5 steps ahead of the game. Our candidate needs to have a wholistic view of every moving part in the company in order to dominate in the endgame.

- Honours in Financial or Engineering degree (Masters or MBA is an advantage)
- 11+ years of proven track record of raising capital for funds, preferably from a PE, Bank [Capital Raising dept] with infrastructure themes
- A passion for sustainable investing
As the Fundraising Expert for our client, you would be responsible for identifying and sourcing investors. This process may include; initiating and managing the onboarding process from identification, initial contact, DD, and execution of legal documentation. You would also be responsible for stablishing and managing the investor interaction programmes and keeping abreast of market developments to enable strategy development for fund progression.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software
- Sales and relationship management skills with strong technical and financial proficiency
