• Postgraduate Degree in accounting or related experience

• Minimum of 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Financial Operations Management: Oversee daily accounting operations for multiple entities, including cash flow, invoicing, budgeting, payroll, tax compliance, and payment processing
• Consolidated Financial Reporting: Prepare precise and timely consolidated monthly management accounts
• Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate preparation and timely filing of all tax returns, including VAT201, EMP201, EMP501, IRP6, and ITR14
• Insurance Oversight: Manage the group’s insurance policies, including operational assets risk, contractors all risk, professional indemnity, and directors and officers’ liability
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely submission of annual CIPC returns and adherence to statutory obligations
• Debtors Management: Ensure efficient revenue collection processes to maintain strong cash flow
• Banking Administration: Oversee online enterprise banking systems and maintain account operations
• Audit Participation: Actively support the annual audit process, guaranteeing the accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Quality Control: Maintain robust oversight of financial transactions, ensuring quality and accuracy in financial reporting
• Lender Relations: Provide timely and detailed financial information to meet lender requirements under loan agreements
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial laws and regulations
• Process and Policy Improvement: Develop, document, and optimize business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a junior accountant, fostering professional growth and development
• Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as required to support the financial health and operational success of the organisation
