    Description

At the nexus between renewable energy, land rights and acquisition, and engaging with landowners,  there exists an opportunity for you as a Land Rights Specialist and Developer. Our client, a dedicated South African renewable energy developer, is looking for you to join their team and embark on your journey to developing the renewable energy sector.

With a focus on wind, solar, and battery-energy storage systems, our client possesses expertise in the development of utility-scale renewable energy plants. In joining this team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced project developers, environmental project managers, and experts in the renewable energy industry.

As a Land Rights Specialist, your role involves conducting in-depth research to identify landowners in designated areas for project development. This includes reaching out to local farmers and communities, cultivating strong relationships with them, and establishing trust within these communities. You will be at the forefront of these interactions, making it vital for you to be a dynamic and younger professional who can effectively engage with local landowners. Your extensive knowledge of property matters will be instrumental in these efforts, and your knack for negotiations and deal-making will help navigate the intricate world of land rights agreements.

Based in Bellville, you will be the driving force behind numerous administrative tasks associated with the land rights agreements. Beyond your responsibilities in the field, your role extends to ensuring that the land rights agreements are appropriately signed and facilitating their smooth transition to the project development team. In essence, your work carries a significant administrative component that requires precision and attention to detail.

Your journey as a Land Rights Specialist will take you on frequent travels to various project locations, engaging with landowners in person, and managing on-site components. This dynamic aspect of your role ensures that you are not confined to an office but are actively involved in the field, ensuring that land rights agreements are carried out effectively. This hands-on approach reflects the essential nature of your contributions to projects. Your travel and site responsibilities will be an integral part of the sustainable energy initiatives, making your work an exciting and meaningful adventure.

So, if you're someone who craves a career that offers more than just a paycheck, if you're motivated by the prospect of being a part of something larger than yourself, and if you're excited by the idea of helping shape the future of renewable energy in South Africa, then read on to discover more about this incredible opportunity.
