We are eagerly searching for an O&M Technician in the Overberg area for our client to take the forefront of maintaining the commercial scale battery systems.
Our client is one of the leading competitors in the commercial and industrial solar PV industry and has started embracing the increased need for battery systems and storage in the market. They have a broad footprint in South Africa and even abroad and since entering the market in the Overberg area they need a Technician who will be the first point of contact to ensure any technical issues on-site are seen as quickly as possible to ensure all clients are satisfied with the services they offer.

Education Requirements
- Red Seal Qualified or equivalent
- BTech in Electrical Engineering
Experience Requirements
- Hands-on experience with large battery systems (4 MWh and above)
- Familiarity with solar energy projects, especially in a technical capacity
- Prior involvement in servicing grid-tied systems
Responsibilities
As a key player in our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing and growing our tech initiatives in the Overberg region. This includes managing and optimizing big battery systems on solar projects and providing immediate technical support on the ground.

- Proficiency in Afrikaans (non-negotiable)
- Strong engineering and technical skills
- Quick and effective problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to undergo training in battery technology and monitoring systems
