    Description

To save us some time and you from experiencing any disappointment, please note that you WILL NOT be considered for this role if you do not have renewable energy experience.

You do? That’s fantastic, then keep reading.

Our client boasts a global portfolio of almost 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects. They are looking for someone with extensive wind, steam, and thermal experience to act as the middleman between the board and the engineers on the ground. This role involves overseeing each and every moving part of the plant operations.

You’ll need 8+ years of experience in a leadership/management role on a utility-scale onshore wind plant and experience setting up control room systems.

Your primary responsibility would be to manage and maintain the DSC/SCADA and cyber security requirements of the plant. Like captain Kirk at the helm of the Enterprise, you would be responsible for communicating, managing, and reporting on the performance of the various departments and levels of management in the plant. Implementing and developing Annual Operating Plans and ensuring compliance with various industry policies and regulations will also fall within your jurisdiction.

This role requires you to act as legal, financial, and operational advisor, enforcer, and innovator.  Making sure that all plant operations remain on the right side of the law according to acts at OHS Act 16.2, whilst simultaneously nurturing clients, and minding the books is just a taste of the operations that you’ll be optimising. If you are someone who wants to take on more responsibility and leapfrog your career trajectory with a major heavy weight globally – this is your chance.

Captain your own ship, apply now and embark on a journey in which the value of your leadership ability will recognised.
