We’re looking for an experienced Installation Technician with expertise in heat pumps for water heating, pool heat pumps, filtration systems, desalination plants, thermodynamic solar water heaters, and water treatment. The ideal candidate also has expertise in filtration and softening technologies.

To excel in this role, you must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, have hands-on experience with tools and specialised equipment, and have a strong knowledge of safety procedures and chemical handling. System monitoring and reporting skills are essential, along with the willingness to lift heavy equipment and work in diverse environments.

• BTech or NDip in plumbing, HVAC, or related field
• Certification in heat pump installation or related fields

• 5+ years’ experience in water treatment facility operations, preferably in desalination
• Hands-on experience with heat pump installation and maintenance
• Experience with water softener installation and maintenance

• Heat Pump Systems: Install, test, commission, and maintain heat pump systems for water heating and pool heating
• Filtration Systems: Setup and service filtration systems for various applications
• Desalination Plants: Install and maintain desalination plants, ensuring proper integration with renewable energy sources
• Thermodynamic Solar Water Heaters: Work with thermodynamic solar water heaters, particularly those from Energie Portugal
• Pool Heaters: Install and service pool heaters, with a focus on Microwell products
• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all installed systems
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
• Client Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance
