Our client is seeking to expand their team with a Site Planner. In this pivotal role, you would be instrumental in crafting meticulous project plans, ensuring adherence to schedules, and fostering collaboration with internal teams and contractors to streamline project milestones.
As the ideal candidate for the Site Planner role, your responsibilities would include overseeing project schedules at the project site, collaborating with diverse company teams to establish realistic timelines from bid award to commercial operations. Working closely with Project Managers, you would be required to efficiently allocate resources, ensuring the punctual attainment of crucial milestones. In the face of deviations or potential risks, your role extends to advising Project Managers on potential impacts and proposing effective mitigation measures to uphold project schedules. This position calls for expertise in renewable energy and project control practices, offering a dynamic platform to address intricate planning challenges.

As a Site Planner, you would play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our client's projects through effective planning and scheduling. Utilising MS Projects, you would be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Throughout different project phases, you would create study and execution-level schedules, adhering to standard planning practices, and establishing standardised procedures for accurate progress updates. Your keen analytical skills would be crucial in identifying anomalies within project schedules and devising solutions to maintain accuracy.
Independently interpreting technical documents, you be responsible for creating schedules with minimal guidance, loading necessary resources and costs for execution. Your expertise in facilitating timely milestone achievements and providing sequencing, execution priorities, and logic for construction projects within contractual limitations would be essential. Collaborating with internal project teams and coordinating with contractors to incorporate their schedules into the master schedule are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, you would need to produce and maintain project reports, S-curves, and Earned Value Analyses, while assessing and demonstrating the impact of scope changes, delays, and claims on project schedules.
Your responsibilities extend to developing recovery programs in collaboration with project teams, communicating Critical Path activities and project status updates regularly, and updating company planning methods and procedures. Furthermore, you would need to contribute to the development of training programs to enhance Project Managers' skills in using MS Project and standard planning systems for projects at all stages of development. This role is integral to the seamless execution of renewable energy projects, and your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining our commitment to excellence in project planning and execution.
