    Description

    This is a unique opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a renowned and established group with over 50 divisions in the medical field making waves on the environmental sustainability and renewable energy fronts.     You need to have a National N Diploma with Trade Test Certificate or a National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering and a GCC (Government Certificate of Compliance) is essential! The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of applicable technical and managerial experience, a sound understanding of water and energy management, leadership and change management abilities, experience in Asset Management and Financial Management, the ability to build relationships and effectively respond to the needs to external and internal customers, and experience in both the electrical and mechanical engineering. You need to be familiar with the principles of maintenance and asset management aspects, be proficient in MS Office suite, have notable self-management and decision-making skills, and have strong technical knowledge. Project management experience, understanding of building regulations, and a National Diploma in Electrical (Heavy Current) and/or a BTech degree at NQF level 7 are highly advantageous!

    As the new Technical Manager, you will be managing all staff in the technical department, all hospital facilities, clinical infrastructure and assets, technical-related purchasing and expenditure, and the maintenance management system, ensuring that all equipment risks are managed and that all repairs and maintenance are conducted. You will need to professionally engage with all colleagues and clients, enforce Group policies and procedures to staff members as well as contractors, ensure compliance with the OHS Act, oversee quality and safety assurance during and after the completion of contracts, and train nursing, pharmacy, admin and management staff on technical related issues.

    Education Requirements

    • National N Diploma with Trade Test Certificate
