Are you a ‘hybrid’ between an off the charts Sales Representative with solid technical acumen? We are looking for a Technical Salesperson who is 100% client facing and is able to use their technical know-how of PV installations, equipment and design as well as brilliant communication skills to close high-quality sales deals. This role will require you to have a technical understanding of your clients’ needs in the C&I space coupled with a strong sales experience with PV products.
To be the person our client is looking for, you will have excellent communication skills to deal with clients on a technical level, check in on them, stay abreast of new product offerings as well as hunt down new clients. With this robust foundation of experience under your belt, you will be able to formulate intelligent sales pitches that enable you to sell PV solutions to commercial and industrial clients and assist in offsetting their energy consumption and peak demand. In this sense, you will be fully knowledgeable of the components which make up an installation and able to advise on optimal solutions. You will be a professional with a zest for life and solar PV technology, as well as show an ability to understand the buyer as well as the market in which they sit. As a Technical Salesperson, majority of your time will be spent on the road with a 70% focus on sales while the other 30% of your time will be focused on the technical aspect of this role which includes assisting the manager with technical advisory services and designs.

- A degree in engineering or sale-related
- Proven sales experience with exceeding sales targets
- Thorough understanding of PV plant technicalities
- Working knowledge of solar PV systems
